Bel Œil launches a series of photography exhibitions in partnership with ‘de l’air’ magazine. The first showcase will be held at Bel Œil Nice from January 26 to March 11, 2023.

French photographer Floriane de Lassée, 44, lives and works between Marnes-la-Coquette (92) and… the world, where she focuses on series exploring women’s conditions. Inside Views perfectly embodies this approach: this body of work, created between 2004 and 2014, presents mysterious and melancholic portraits of women living in major cities (Paris, New York, Istanbul, Tokyo, Shanghai…). Each image is an urban landscape punctuated by silence and the presence of a solitary occupant.

The exhibition, curated by Bel Œil and de l’air magazine, features eleven large-format prints, each numbered and signed by the artist. Regularly exhibited in galleries, museums, and festivals, de Lassée’s work is part of prestigious private collections in France and abroad.
