Matteo Di Ciommo

House & Drawers

Matteo Di Ciommo is a true wood artist. He crafts handmade objects that become real sculptures, full of poetry and suggestion.
His inspiration comes from a unique poetics of shadow: the starting point is reality—not the one we immediately perceive, but the invisible one that hides behind the appearance and functionality of things.

By revealing this hidden dimension, Matteo brings to life pieces that tell stories, evoke landscapes and impressions.
Wonder, enchantment, and emotion lie at the heart of his approach.
Each hand-sculpted creation embodies the essence of wood, its energy, and the strength of the artisanal gesture, elevated by design.

C& R Eames

Attelle, 1942

In 1942, after the United States entered the war, the American army called upon Charles and Ray Eames to design 15,000 splints for the US Navy. The couple developed models made of molded plywood—lighter, more ergonomic, and more comfortable than the metal versions used until then.

This commission allowed the Eames to experiment with mass production of molded wood objects. This expertise, gained in a context of urgency, became the foundation of their later work. As soon as the war ended, they applied it to furniture, creating iconic pieces such as the DCW chair (1946) and the Lounge Chair, which became a best-seller of the 1950s.

Atelier Marc Ferrand

Dialogues

The Dialogues vase series is an exploration of form and movement.
Shaped by curves and counter-curves, the vases interlock and respond to one another, creating unique combinations.

Colors and transparencies intertwine to form a unified whole, giving rise to objects that are at once singular and multiple.
These vases engage in a dialogue with time and architecture.

Amandine Fabry

Plaid Grimace

Dimensions: 150 x 200 cm – Jacquard weave: 40% wool / 40% mohair / 20% organic cotton

Trames FACTICES is a recent textile research project that deeply explores the very idea of fabric, its plasticity and representations. The graphic work at play plays with perception and trompe-l’œil, notably through the simplicity of a stripe, which disturbs the linearity of the weave. Although flat, the textiles evoke a pleating effect, as if a striped fabric were subtly folded.

These compositions deploy an original construction in the interlacing, proposing a form of mise en abyme within the very structure of the weave. This approach actively contributes to the enhancement of textile cultural heritage, while questioning both the architecture and history of this field.

Weaving maintains a strong link with line and stripe. The thread, by its linear nature, traces lines in the material, making the appearance of stripes almost inevitable. Here, the stripe is finely exploited to reveal, between the lines, a precious (im)material heritage. It is therefore not a motif chosen at random, but a tribute to the entire richness of textile culture.

Trames FACTICES follows a reasoned production approach. The project pays special attention to the location of production and the selection of raw materials. All partners are based in Belgium and France, and the materials come from sustainable sources. The wool is RWS certified (Responsible Wool Standard), the mohair is RMS certified (Responsible Mohair Standard), and all components are validated by accredited laboratories.

Suppliers also commit to strict animal welfare standards. Thus, Trames FACTICES combines aesthetic innovation, ethical awareness, and a tribute to a textile know-how deeply rooted in our culture.

Large Industrial Fan

India, early 20th century

Dimensions: 130 x 72 x H 183 cm

An old industrial pedestal fan, this imposing model embodies the robustness and raw elegance of industrial aesthetics.

Its large riveted blades, manual gear mechanism, and functional design evoke 20th-century workshops, where every object had a soul.

With its generous dimensions, it becomes much more than a simple technical object: a true centerpiece for an interior with a strong character.

Ideal for bringing a vintage industrial touch to a loft, a boutique, or an atypical living space.
