Arclinea was founded in 1925 in Caldogno, near Vicenza, as a workshop dedicated to woodcraft. In 1958, it introduced its first wooden kitchen, THEA. This was followed by innovations such as the first kitchen with integrated appliances, the laminated kitchens, light walnut, and Canaletto walnut… Projects like the handle-less modular kitchen GAMMA, a recipe book featuring dishes from Arclinea clients, and the invention of the freestanding kitchen have become markers of Arclinea’s creativity —and icons in modern kitchen design. In 1986, Arclinea expanded internationally and opened a showroom in New York City.
The collaboration with renowned architect and designer Antonio Citterio marked the beginning of major milestones in the brand’s history and development. Since 2016, Arclinea has set new goals and joined forces with B&B Italia and Maxalto — a partnership rooted in shared values: design, innovation, and quality. Together with the teams from all three brands, Antonio Citterio continues to push boundaries, combining innovative materials and original chromatic palettes that blend kitchen aesthetics with the collections of B&B Italia and Maxalto —for comprehensive interior design projects.
