The choice of Arclinea is no accident: it came about thanks to the partnerships between our historic suppliers B&B Italia and Maxalto, with the Vicenza-based brand entirely designed by Antonio Citterio. Arclinea was founded in 1925 in Caldogno, near Vicenza, as a workshop specializing in wood transformation. In 1958, the first wooden kitchen THEA was created. Later, the first kitchen with integrated appliances, laminate kitchens, blonde walnut, Canaletto walnut… Projects like the GAMMA kitchen, a modular kitchen with no handles, the creation of a recipe book showcasing Arclinea clients’ recipes, and the invention of the self-supporting kitchen, are markers of Arclinea’s creativity and now essential in modern kitchen industry. In 1986, Arclinea went international and opened a showroom in New York City.
The collaboration with the renowned architect and designer Antonio Citterio began, leading to significant milestones in the brand’s history and growth. Since 2016, Arclinea has set new goals, forming a partnership with B&B Italia and Maxalto based on shared values of design, innovation, and quality. Antonio Citterio, along with the teams from all three brands, continues to push the boundaries of creativity, combining materials and colors in new ways and seamlessly blending kitchen designs with the B&B Italia and Maxalto collections for fully integrated projects.
