Bel Œil has been showcasing Cassina for over 25 years.
Our relationship with the Meda-based brand is essential—Cassina is a benchmark in the world of modern and contemporary furniture design.

Beyond the “I Maestri” collection (featuring the Le Corbusier LC4 longue chair, among others), Cassina offers a wide range of furnishings, allowing us to include pieces by Philippe Starck, Mario Bellini, Patricia Urquiola, Piero Lissoni, Vico Magistretti, Jean Marie Massaud, Ora Ito, Gio Ponti, Neri & Hu, Michael Anastassiades, and many more in our creations.
The Cab chair, designed by Mario Bellini and produced by Cassina since the 1970s, has become a true design icon.
The same holds true for the Maralunga sofa by Vico Magistretti—also from that era—whose comfort remains unmatched to this day.
Philippe Starck’s creations, such as the LWS, My World, and Volage sofas or the Caprice and Passion chairs, have always made a strong impression thanks to their distinct design and contemporary message.
Cassina features in many of our projects, both private and professional client, who recognize the exceptional standard of its manufacturing and the balance between timeless, functional, and visually impactful design.
It’s worth mentioning that Cassina launched a highly complete Outdoor Collection in 2020, blending iconic pieces by Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand with striking new creations by Starck and Dordoni… we can’t wait for summer!
The “Amedeo Cassina” company was founded in 1927 by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in Meda.
After World War II, the company grew by securing contracts with cruise ships, luxury hotels, and upscale restaurants. This expansion helped Cassina develop strong, diverse industrial expertise unique to the Brianza region’s craftsmanship.
In 1964, the “Cassina I Maestri” collection was born, with the acquisition of rights to the furniture designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Cassina began producing the LC1, LC2, LC3 armchairs and the LC4 chaise longue.
Nowadays, Cassina remains the sole holder of the exclusive license for these creations, in direct partnership with the Le Corbusier Foundation and Charlotte Perriand’s family.
The “Cassina I Maestri” Collection expanded in 1968 to include creations by Gerrit Rietveld, Frank Lloyd Wright, Franco Albini, and Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
Cassina also stands as a leading contemporary design publisher, collaborating with top-tier talents such as Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola, Piero Lissoni, Mario Bellini, Rodolfo Dordoni, and more.
