Bel Œil has been showcasing the iconic furniture of Knoll since its establishment in Nice in 1996.
The Bauhaus school in Dessau is undoubtedly a major inspiration for us, as the connection between visual arts, architecture, and design was at the core of our project.

The choices of Hans & Florence Knoll, when they created their design company in the United States, are a true source of inspiration for Bel Œil.
The minimalist “Less is More” approach by Mies van der Rohe, with his Barcelona collection still being produced… The artistic approach of sculptor Harry Bertoia, whose seating resembles his works of art, or the iconic table and chairs by Eero Saarinen or Warren Platner remind us of the golden ages of design and its timelessness.
Today, Knoll International continues to innovate and stay in tune with the times by producing creations by designers such as Piero Lissoni, Antonio Citterio, and stylist Willo Perron.
This allows us to present you with the best of the design world for your projects, with durable furniture, both in its design and construction!
Founded in 1938 by Hans Knoll and developed with his wife Florence Knoll, Knoll International is a landmark brand in modern design. Renowned for its approach blending functionality and aesthetics, the company established a timeless style that continues to influence the layout of both living and working spaces. With its commitment to quality and adherence to Bauhaus principles, Knoll has become a leading name in contemporary furniture.
Knoll has collaborated with some of the greatest designers of the 20th century, producing iconic pieces. Mies van der Rohe, with his famous Barcelona chair, or Eero Saarinen, creator of the Tulip table and the Womb chair, have left their mark on design history with their sleek and innovative creations.
Florence Knoll designed furniture with elegant and functional lines, adapted to new lifestyles and work environments.
Today, Knoll continues to innovate by working with contemporary designers like Piero Lissoni and Willo Perron, while preserving its heritage. Its furniture fits seamlessly into both private interiors and high-end professional spaces. Merging artisanal expertise with contemporary technology, Knoll continues its vision of creating design that is both aesthetic, ergonomic, and timeless.
