Bel meetings
is a Spanish designer passionate since childhood.
She obtained her degree in architecture in Madrid. She then moved to Milan for further studies, where she wrote a thesis under the supervision of Achille Castiglioni, a great Italian designer with whom she would later teach.
In 1991, she became head of development at the furniture brand De Padova. The Flower chair was her very first published piece, in collaboration with Vico Magistretti.
In 1996, she began working with major furniture brands such as Alessi through the Lissoni design group, and a few years later she opened her own agency, still in Milan, which allowed her to collaborate with important publishers.
Patricia’s creations are very feminine. She draws inspiration from the people she meets, her travels, and the world around her. She uses natural materials and incorporates traditional craft techniques she discovers throughout her life.

In addition to her wonderful work in design, Patricia Urquiola is also an interior architect.
It was particularly her work in the hotel industry that brought her great success.
At the Now fair, she was named Designer of the Year in 2008, and her pieces are part of the permanent collections exhibited at MoMA.
She has designed furniture edited by: Moroso, Kartell, EMU, Foscarini, Flos, GAN, Cassina.
She is currently the artistic director of the brand Cassina.
