He is an architect, interior architect, and designer. He brings a minimalist and elegant dimension to his projects that sets them apart.
Vincent Van Duysen was born in 1962 in Lokeren, Belgium. He graduated in architecture from the Saint-Lucas Hogeschool in Ghent. Later, he worked in Milan with stylist Cinzia Ruggeri and collaborated with Aldo Cibic of Sottsass Associati. He develops his creations with an architect’s eye, starting from the notion of space rather than form.
Van Duysen continues to follow his guiding principle, shaping timeless pieces with tactile, pure materials. He references primary forms and historical objects, reinterpreting them in a contemporary way, independent of current trends.
Balance between form and vision is important in his work, as are durability, functionality, and comfort. However, he does not shy away from the “power of beauty,” seeing it as an essential part of the “Art of Living,” the emotional side of architecture and design.

Minimalist and introspective, he also works in design, creating pieces for brands such as Cappellini, Poliform, Varenna, and B&B Italia. His preference for elemental forms gives his work a timeless quality.
In Europe, the United States, and Japan, his work is celebrated for its elegance and refinement, touching on the essential. He is currently the artistic director of the Molteni brand.
