Edra and Bel Œil began to collaborate in 2021 with the integration of  Standard and Grande Soffice sofas into our showrooms, and especially with the fabulous projects currently underway.

Valerio Mazzei, President of Edra, states: “When we design a sofa or other piece of furniture, we do it with the profound intention that it should suffer from no form of obsolescence, whether stylistic, technical, or from use.”

Edra was founded in 1987 in Tuscany, near Florence.
Its first productions were presented in an art gallery in Milan, notably revealing the work of a budding architect, a certain Zaha Hadid!

Today, Edra is recognised worldwide for the absolute quality of its products, combining artistic creation, technological research, exceptional craftsmanship, and materials of the very highest quality. The company has developed exceptional furniture and premium solutions such as the intelligent cushion.
This brand-new concept contains a hidden secret within that immediately proves useful. Its combination of special materials allows it to adapt to the shape needed for any task: it can be raised, lowered, and optimally positioned with a simple, effortless, light press of the hand.

Whether as a backrest or armrest, the intelligent cushion ensures maximum well-being and comfort.

Francesco Binfaré’s works offer poetic vision, structured shape, and plush comfort that are emblematic of the Edra collection.
He is the most prominent designer at Edra, and his unique world is illustrated in this selection of sofas.

But Edra also collaborates with other great designers and creators.
One example is the inventive Campanas brothers, a pair of Brazilian designers known for their work based on visual accumulation, crossing stylistic boundaries, and a certain avant-garde form of up-cycling.

At Edra, their work is stands out with pieces such as the Brasilia tables and Scrigno and Cabana ranges.

Their not-to-be-missed Cipria and Boa sofas and Favela, Corallo, Grinza, and Vermelha armchairs all contribute to Edra’s exceptional character, making it unmistakably distinguishable from other brands.
