The Chalet Whymper, as mentioned in Blink in November 2017, opened in time for Christmas!
This represents a new approach to hospitality in Chamonix, after the Faucigny and the Génépi, which offers cosy, friendly spaces, just like at home.
Emmanuelle de Laage, the interior designer for this project, offers efficient designs that are easy to live with … it’s good to return to the Chalet Whymper after a hard day at high altitude! It only has ten rooms, but has every comfort to make you feel at home.
The look is northern European, with furniture from the Danish companies &Tradition, Fredericia, Muuto, Hay and Mater. The Italian brands Gervasoni and Riva 1920 are also featured; their use of natural materials is perfectly suited to our mountain projects.
Bravo to Emmanuelle, and thank you to Martin, the owner of Chalet Whymper, for putting his trust in us again!
