Architects Céline Bouzat and Christophe Erades approached us, together with their client, the Sophia Antipolis Urban Community, to furnish a new media library in Villeneuve-Loubet: the Auguste Escoffier Cultural Centre.
The project was designed around USM Haller: a modular and highly functional Swiss furniture system that has long proved its value in media libraries and public spaces. The librarians were delighted with the result, as USM is both pleasant to use on a daily basis and highly adaptable to the practical constraints of their profession. They would go on to recommend us to their colleagues throughout CASA.
To enliven the space and complement the architects’ emphasis on timber, we selected wooden seating by Swedish maker Lammhults—perfect for public areas.
Delivered for a major regional authority, this project showcases our ability to propose solutions that meet both functional and aesthetic requirements, all while respecting tight budgets.
