A project in Courchevel for our client, Les Hôtels d’en Haut, celebrating the very idea of winter sports holidays, born in the 1950s.
That era was defined by a distinctive way of life—sporting, authentic and deeply inspired by the vision of leading architects and designers. Hôtel** des 3 Vallées** brings back the modernity and boldness of that period through a carefully selected collection of furniture and original works by Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, Pierre Paulin, Pierre Guariche and Pierre Chapo.
Bel Œil contributed to the project under the direction of interior architect Gilles Leborgne, selecting signature pieces by major designers, produced by some of today’s leading furniture houses:
Cassina and the Méribel and Berger stools by Charlotte Perriand, the Lady armchair by Marco Zanuso, the Mex Cube sofa by Piero Lissoni, upholstered in Rubelli velvet… as well as Pierre Paulin’s Moulin chairs by Artifort, the AJ lamps by Arne Jacobsen, produced by Louis Poulsen, and a selection of more contemporary objects that nevertheless beautifully evoke the spirit of that remarkable era.
These pieces give rhythm to the aesthetic of this chalet, defined by its quiet singularity. From the very beginning, Hôtel des 3 Vallées has invited its guests to share its appreciation for beautiful objects and authenticity.
Today, Les 3 Vallées belongs to hospitality investment group Beaumier.
Following new strategic choices, the hotel has adopted a new identity and interior design, while remaining at the forefront of this exceptional resort!
