“Azure blue, pure white, and red ochre. Three colors that pay tribute to this holiday hotel, a landmark of the Esterel, living with its feet in the water, in rhythm with the sea and the light.”

The latest creation of our client Les Hôtels d’en Haut, the 5-star Hotel Les Roches Rouges in Saint-Raphaël is a true haven of peace.

Designed by Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay, the architects behind Festen, the project embodies Dolce Vita: an informal, subtle luxury that recalls the 1950s on the French Riviera.

Bel Œil was invited to complement the architects’ bespoke pieces, the vintage furniture finds, and the artworks selected by Antoine Ricardou, with a selection of furniture and decoration elements carefully chosen to blend in, without overpowering a décor that above all invites to rest and serenity.

AA armchairs by Airborne, rugs by Nanimarquina and J81 chairs in natural wood by Mater: every piece was selected to blend naturally into the setting. A few statement designs—including Charlotte Perriand’s Rio coffee table for Cassina, Knoll’s Nakashima chair and BassamFellows’ Tractor Stools—punctuate the atmosphere with their understated presence.

Completed for the summer of 2017, Les Roches Rouges remains one of the finest projects in which we have had the privilege to participate.

Today, Hôtel Les Roches Rouges belongs to the hospitality group Beaumier.
Following new strategic choices, the hotel has adopted a new identity and interior design, while remaining at the forefront of this exceptional destination!
