Decorated Chalet in Méribel
Bel Oeil contributed to the interior decoration of this high-end mountain chalet designed by

A collectors’ apartment, completed in Nice, on the rooftop of a townhouse.
All the rooms in the apartment open onto the terrace—a place for sharing and family life. This terrace was designed and built by Henri Olivier, an artist known for working with landscapes, and whose bench also appears in the living room.
The spacious living area inside features a long Bulthaup b1 kitchen (12 meters in total), resembling a workbench anchoring the space to the north—where things are placed, displayed, or simply cooked!
Reminiscent of a J. Pawson project, the large low kitchen unit continues through a glass partition and extends into the adjacent bathroom.
Design furniture—vintage or new—coexists with contemporary artworks collected by the residents throughout their exhibition projects. Charles sofas by A. Citterio for B&B Italia, Rotor table by P. Lissoni for Cassina, Conference chairs by E. Saarinen for Knoll… all surrounded by works from Malick Sidibé, Georges Rousse, Daphné Corregan, Jaume Plensa, José Maria Sicilia, Cédric Teisseire, and others.
… not to mention a mural by Charley Case, created in situ on the door of a custom partition cabinet we designed and built for the clients!
A delightful collectors’ apartment to live in—a true retreat under the Côte d’Azur light!
