The Bulthaup B2 kitchen is a rare gem… but what an exceptional design piece! So much so that we installed a complete one in a museum!
At the Espace de l’Art Concret in Mouans-Sartoux, as part of the exhibition “It’s up to you to see,” by artist Pascal Pinaud (see Blink December 2016).
The artist, wanting to bring the space back to life as if it were inhabited, selected the Bulthaup B2 kitchen for its autonomy in space and the quality of its components: walnut cabinet objects that hide the appliances and utensils, along with a large workbench that serves as both a prep area and a social space.
It’s like being in a workshop, where the cook becomes an artisan, crafting their culinary creations!
A fun story: this Bulthaup B2 kitchen caught the eye of a prospective buyer at the museum, who was so taken by the installation that they purchased the entire kitchen and had it installed after the exhibition!
