Accueil » Realisations » Apartment renovation in Nice

In the heart of Nice, Bel Œil undertook a complete decoration project, totally restructuring a beautiful 140 m² bourgeois apartment.
The brief, our mission: make this living space work for a family… while integrating design furniture and the collection of art and vintage objects accumulated over time.
Atmosphere, colors, and warm materials, in full harmony, enhancing the objects selected for this project.
We find ourselves in an urban setting, bathed in the light of the French Riviera, like a protective cocoon in the city center.
The stainless steel and fossil oak kitchen is the Italia model, designed by Antonio Citterio for Arclinea… with some specific fittings such as this small dining table, and the Marrazzi tiles for the backsplash and their continuity in the circulation areas.
The furniture is a mix of design classics: Knoll, De Padova, B&B Italia, Porro, or USM Haller, combined with vintage pieces by Thonet, Jeanneret, or Castiglione…
Notable lighting includes pieces by Serge Mouille, DCW Editions, Ingo Maurer, or Davide Groppi… and artworks by Cédric Teisseire, Xavier Theunis, Jurgen Nefzger, or Malick Sidibé.
And a collection of singular objects, carefully selected decorative accessories, that catch the eye.
A decoration project in Nice, Bel Œil’s home ground for nearly 30 years, like a true signature of its identity!
