House in Cap d’Antibes
A beautiful house in Cap d’Antibes, facing the old town and the snow-capped Alps,

After completing the design of their apartment in Nice, a couple of English clients approached us with a new project: their secondary residence. It’s a house they’ve just acquired in Mont Boron, their getaway home. This will be their vacation and weekend retreat, as well as their retirement home on the French Riviera.
The goal is to preserve the essence of this stone house, keeping it simple and understated. When we first discovered it, the house was filled with books, and now we aim to bring in more modern functionality. We’ll be redesigning the two floors, the garden, and creating guest rooms and bathrooms.
A large Sistema System bookshelf by Piero Lissoni for Porro, spanning 15 meters in length, will be installed. It will evoke memories of past designs as soon as you enter, providing the owner with a beautiful space for their home office.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is furnished with a Molteni & Cie bed and vintage DCW chairs by Ray & Charles Eames, original Herman Miller editions from the 1950s. The artwork “Encrier” is a painting by Piotr Klemensiewicz.
The living room is located in the cooler areas of the house, beneath the stone arches. It includes a Michel sofa by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, a P 60 armchair by Oswaldo Borsani for Tecno, an Xilos dining table by Antonio Citterio for Maxalto, and Conference chairs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll.
The Bulthaup b3 kitchen is designed for a couple who love cooking and socializing. It connects beautifully with the living room and includes a stunning wine cellar!
Artist Henri Olivier, who contributed to the design of the garden, created two remarkable pieces for this project: a heavy, solid bench that organizes the living space, and a charred wood monolith, positioned like a stele in the garden, inviting meditation.
