Decorated Chalet in Méribel

“Azure blue, pure white, and red ochre. Three colors that pay tribute to this holiday hotel, a landmark of the Esterel, living with its feet in the water, in rhythm with the sea and the light.”
The latest creation of our client Les Hôtels d’en Haut, the 5-star Hotel Les Roches Rouges in Saint-Raphaël is a true haven of peace.
Designed by Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay, the architects behind Festen, the project embodies Dolce Vita: an informal, subtle luxury that recalls the 1950s on the French Riviera.
Bel Œil was invited to complement the architects’ bespoke pieces, the vintage furniture finds, and the artworks selected by Antoine Ricardou, with a selection of furniture and decoration elements carefully chosen to blend in, without overpowering a décor that above all invites to rest and serenity.
Selected items include AA chairs by Airborne, rugs by Nani Marquina, and J81 natural wood chairs by Mater. Key highlights: the Rio coffee table by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina, Nakashima chair by Knoll, and Tractor Stools by Bassam Fellows—all enhancing the atmosphere with their understated presence.
Delivered in summer 2017, Les Roches Rouges is one of the most beautiful projects we’ve been part of.
