Le Chalet Whymper – Chamonix
Chalet Wymper
In Chamonix, owners of the Mont Blanc Collection group, who entrusted us with the furnishing of Faucigny and Génépi, decided to renovate the Whymper Chalet into a warm and cozy place for lovers of high mountains.
English climber Edward Whymper was the first to climb the legendary Cervin with french Michel Croz: it was important for interior designer Emmanuelle de Laage to be able tell the story of this mountain adventurer, through his books, travels, etc.
Very connected to the previous project Genépi, the Whymper branches off to Scandinavian collections like Carl Hansen, Mater Design & Tradition or Fredericia… lots of wood, expert craftsmanship contribute to the warmth of the place, and the quality of a cozy welcome after the effort in the mountains.
A project to do for Christmas 2017, since at this time, it has not yet been completed yet!
