Piotr Klemensiewicz, born on February 11,1956 in Marseille, is a French painter and sculptor of Polish origin.

He studied at the College of Fine Arts in Marseille, graduated in 1979 and where he has been teaching since 1986. His teaching activity does not prevent him from creating a singular, autobiographical and intimate work, marked by mystery, in which he pursues research on the transcription of the landscape through a series he exhibits regularly in France and abroad.

He is particularly known for his work on color, which he considers as “the main vector of pictorial language”. Colors, he says, have their own visual language that silences words.

Bel Oeil’s relationship with Piotr is old, faithful, and has given rise to many projects and exhibitions, including that of the Galerie des Ponchettes in Nice, for which we had worked out a set design with an echo also in our showroom.
